JOB OVERVIEW:

• Job Title: Physician – Cardiology (Non-Invasive).
• Job Type: Locum Tenens.
• Location: Troy, OH.
• Service Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient (Hospital-based).
• Coverage Type: Clinical + Call.
• Coverage Period: ASAP- Ongoing (approx. 4 months).
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8a – 5p.
• On-Call Shift Schedule: 1:5 nights/weekends.
• Call Type: In-House.
• Call Ratio: 1:5.
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes.
• Callback Rate: 6 hours per 24-hour call.

COVERAGE DATES: ASAP- 4 months

• Patient Demographics: Adults.
• Patient Volume/Census: 8–10 inpatient rounding in the morning.
• Admissions: 1 average admission while on call.
• Rounding: Included.

• Case Mix: Cardiology (Non-Invasive), Stress Tests, Nuclear Studies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Licenses: Active Ohio medical license.
• Board: Board Certified in Cardiology (Non-Invasive).
• DEA: Active DEA Certification required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty.
• Other Qualifications: Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Rotate with 4 other cardiologists to provide inpatient consults, office visits, and reading panels.
• Perform nuclear studies and stress tests.
• Round on inpatients in the morning.
• Participate in 1:5 night/weekend call rotation.
• Manage inpatient cardiology cases independently.
