JEVS is one of the largest non-profits in the Philadelphia area. We are looking for  dedicated ,  compassionate individuals to join the  JEVS CLHS Team.

We are hiring for  Direct Care Workers – $18.00 per hour !

This position is a floater position. It requires flexibility in scheduling. You must be able to travel to different site/locations and be open to working a variety of shifts. Shifts will include the weekend - you must be available to work Saturday & Sunday.  This position is full time with a guarantee of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a home with up to three adults with disabilities.
• Help individuals with disabilities with daily life, including cleaning, feeding, and shopping.
• Take individuals to community events, including volunteer opportunities.

• Unpredictability is part of each day when providing care for those we support.

• Our homes are 24/7, which means that weekends and holidays will be part of scheduling.

• While contributing to the success of the lives of those that we support, it can sometimes be taxing on our own bodies and minds.

· High School Diploma/GED

· Valid driver’s license is a must

· 1 year experience in Direct Care/Home Supports

The base pay for this position is $18.00 per hour!  Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
