Are you ready to embark on a unique remote role where independence and curiosity are key? Canter Power Systems is seeking a dedicated service technician based in the Naples area who loves solving complex mechanical issues, being out on the open road and helping customers keep their power on.

As a Remote Service Technician, you’ll have the ability to work out of your own home while traveling around the Naples area and beyond completing maintenance and repairs on Generac home standby generators.

Responsibilities:

• Service/repair generators, change air filters, change oil, check battery levels, change spark plugs, etc.
• Perform on-site planned maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshooting for customers generators (including DC & AC voltage equipment)
• Work independently with a work vehicle serving residential standby generators. 

Qualifications:

• Maintenance & repair, troubleshooting and field service skills, specifically with generators.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Experience in generator maintenance and servicing.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid drivers license.
