Legal Secretary


System One has partnered with a company in the OKC area that is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join their team full-time in their office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and is committed to delivering exceptional administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports

• Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate court dates

• File legal documents with courts and government agencies (electronic and physical)

• Maintain and organize case files, both digital and hard copy

• Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and handle client communications professionally

• Perform general office duties including copying, scanning, and mail distribution

• Assist with billing, time entry, and expense reporting

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a legal secretary or in a similar legal administrative role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems

• Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• High level of discretion and confidentiality

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment

Work Environment:

• This is a full-time, in-office position. Remote work is not available.

• Standard business hours, Monday through Friday
