Position Overview

Tact Tech Security Solutions is seeking a motivated Part-Time Recruiter to support our growing team by sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified security personnel. This role is responsible for ensuring our staffing needs are consistently met across multiple contracts while upholding our company standards of professionalism and reliability. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and experienced in high-volume recruiting.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Sourcing

  • Identify, source, and attract candidates through job boards, social media, career fairs, and referrals.
  • Develop and maintain pipelines of qualified applicants for positions such as armed/unarmed guards, rovers, gatehouse staff, and supervisors.
  • Post and update job listings on multiple platforms to maximize visibility.

Screening & Selection

  • Review resumes, applications, and pre-screen candidates for qualifications and suitability.
  • Conduct phone screens and initial interviews.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers.
  • Ensure background checks, licensing, and certifications are verified prior to hire.

Onboarding Support

  • Assist new hires through the application and onboarding process.
  • Schedule and track completion of orientation, training, and licensing requirements.
  • Ensure candidates are prepared with uniforms, schedules, and assignment details.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate recruitment records in applicant tracking systems.
  • Provide weekly updates to management on open roles, candidates in process, and time-to-fill metrics.
  • Support HR and operations with staffing reports as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition (security industry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting techniques, job boards, and social media recruiting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Familiarity with background checks, licensing, and compliance processes.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Part-time position: 15–25 hrs/week
  • Flexible schedule with some remote work possible.
  • Compensation: Negotiable
